Once again Martin has come to my rescue! This time i managed to spill water over my laptop and Martin without a fuss got it working and also cleaned up some nasty malware that had managed to get into the machine. Martin is without doubt a brilliant IT expert and a really good bloke!

Firstly a MASSIVE thank you to Martin. It is a pleasure to have someone that you can trust and understand what your needs are. At the same time providing a first class service. My laptop was very sluggish and way to much unnecessary data on. I had been having problems with Window updates. They could not install for the past 2 months. Martin did a complete hard drive wipe and re-installed Windows 10. He also installed programs that will sync with all my other devices. These included GoodSync and gSyncit. I had been using Google mail but now am using Microsoft Outlook. A bit of getting used to but it is much better as I can use it to get Googlemail and also my Fresher Air emails on the same program. No need to have 2 separate programs.
Martin did a remote link up, to sort out the final details and tweaks. All is running perfect now.
I had had another company to try sort out my problem but they did not understand what I needed and I still had the same problem with the laptop. A total waste of money.

Many thanks for your friendly, helpful and patient advice for a technophobe. I now have a PC and iPad I feel I can work with after loads of issues resolved and printer installed as well as a mobile that does more than I ever thought possible. Just brilliant.

Martin sorted out all my emails to come into my outlook so that they are displayed and arranged exactly how I wanted. I was really pleased with what he did and he did a few extra things that he could see needed doing that I hadn’t even asked for. Thanks Martin

Martin removed 16 Malware apps from my new! desktop computer that made my HP almost unusable, updated Office, uninstalled everything, reinstalled everything, got my OneDrive working, saved my work docs, pics, videos, itunes , spent hours on the phone to Microsoft diligently piecing my whole system back together – basically the works. He did it quickly, comprehensively and with great communication so I knew exactly what was going on. Fabulous value for money too. Martin; you’re a star. I had been resigned to replacing my elderly and by now very slow Sony Vaio laptop once Vista ceased to be supported. Martin upgraded the operating system to Windows 10 quickly and at very reasonable cost. The Vaio has been reborn & is now working so much more speedily. I’ve even found I like using Windows 10 – hated windows 8, which I had used on another pc. Thanks Martin!

Thank you very much for so seamlessly upgrading my computer from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, whilst leaving my computer with you. Minimal down time and interruption to work flow and productivity.

E-mail not working after updating my computer.
Now, not only is my e-mail is working but the system has been optimised, loads of small issues resolved or tidied up.
Also have new anti-virus software, a very slick backup system.

I contacted Martin 2 days ago with suspicions of security threat on my notebook (unfounded as it turned out). Within 24 hours Martin responded with his assessment of the situation and detailed DIY advice on how to solve the problem. All sorted within 24 hours and all done from my desk.

Martin put in a lot of effort to undertake a windows migration on one of our laptops which was not straight forward job in order to eliminate the need to re-install programmes. Martin collected the computer on Friday, worked the weekend so we had the computer back with minimal down time the following Monday. Great job, Thanks

Living on a yacht has its challenges but there is little that is more demoralising than having the computer go down and, along with it, contact with the outside world! Martin has come to my rescue on several occasions. He remotely accessed my computer while I was in St Lucia and also solved a problem by remote access while he was in South Africa and I was back in UK. Just recently Martin has replaced my hard drive and got the computer up and running ready for another cruising season in the Caribbean. It’s great to have such a reliable, friendly expert as part of the Ocean Rainbow team.

This may seem feeble-minded to those of you more savvy or indeed patient than me, but I asked Martin to help me get everything synchronised and working when I took recent delivery of a new Nokia Lumia 930 Windows phone. I tried to DIY, but I couldn’t work out why things weren’t linking. Having watched so many other people lose days and weekends trying to achieve this with their various phones, lap-tops and tablet and then spend whole weekends de-duping the mess that followed, I decided investing in Martin’s help was going to save me all that time to get on with the things I’m good at. As ever he was incredibly responsive, calm and helpful. No regrets. I just relaxed!

Martin Vines is one of the most honest people I have ever had the pleasure of giving money to! I mean that in the nicest possible way, because when I pay Martin’s invoices, I know that I have had the best possible advice and quality of service I have ever had.
