How do a I remove the US Keyboard
"I have a US keyboard showing in the System Tray, but I know it's not installed because in the Language settings only the English UK is installed with one English UK Keyboard."
When you see ENG in the system tray is means that you have more than one keyboard layout installed. But most users only use ONE keyboard and in the UK that is the English UK (QWERTY).

Resolution
Add English Untied States Language and then remove it again and that should resolve this issue.- Settings, Time and Language, Language, Add a language
- English (United States), Next
- Untick all of the selected items
- Install
- Click on the language English (United States)
- Remove
