Wireless Internet Connection
If you are not able to connect to the internet - one possible reason is that the computer is not connected to the correct wireless device that is supporting your internet access.
This resolution has been written to support a Windows 10 computer. Users of other versions of Operating software may find this resolution useful.
On your Windows 10 computer locate the network icon in the System Tray (area in the lower right corner of the computer screen).
The Icon and the meaning appears as follows:
In case no 2 above, the wireless connection has an issue with an internet connection and changing the connection would resolve the problem.

The Icon and the meaning appears as follows:

You’re connected to Wi-Fi and the Internet.

Connected to Wi-Fi, but no Internet connection is detected (also known as limited connectivity).

Your wireless network adapter is recognized, but no Wi-Fi networks are found and you’re not connected to Wi-Fi.

A wireless adapter is detected and there are wireless networks in range, but you’re not connected to one.
In case no 2 above, the wireless connection has an issue with an internet connection and changing the connection would resolve the problem.
To change the connection:
- Click the network/ wireless network icon
- Select another displayed wireless network
- Enter the passphrase if requested
- Check the Connect Automatically box
- Click Connect
To forget a network connection:
- Right click the network/ wireless network icon
- Click Open Network & Internet settings
- Select "Wi-Fi" from the left navigation pane
- Click "Manage known networks"
- Click the SSID you want to remove from the resulting list
- Click "Forget"
