click Run.
b) Google Chrome: At the bottom left side of the browser window a button will appear:
“SplashtopSOS.exe”
click on this button
OR
Click the three horizontal bars at the top right of the browser window, select Downloads and then click on SplashtopSOS.exe. - At the message “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your PC”, Click Yes.

Check if you already have Splashtop Streamer Installed
If you are an existing client, you may already have Splashtop Streamer installed on your computer. You can check this by looking for the Splashtop logo in the system tray at the bottom right of your screen. Click the up arrow shown at the left of the system tray icons to reveal the hidden system tray icons.
If you see the blue Splashtop logo, you already have it installed and there is nothing further to do other than leave your computer on.
Follow all the instructions to install, allow and enable the installation and connection.
Please click HERE
On the resulting web page, tick the box: I trust the organization above and want to allow remote access to my computer.
…and follow the resulting Step 1 to Download the Streamer (click the large blue button) and Step 2 to Run the installer and allow access.
The web page behind the installation is easily mistaken for the actual software you will be opening. So make sure you click on the Confirm button for the actual software you are installing – and not on the image in the web page.
Once installed on your computer Martin’s HelpDesk will be able to see your computer and connect to it.
Splashtop Streamer will remain installed on your computer and allows continued access your computer should you require support at a future time.
