Had my previous mobile for 6 years, using it only for calls and texts with the occasional photo. I had only a vague idea of some of the amazing things the modern mobile is capable of. Martin advised on a suitable new phone for my needs. He then helped me set up security lock, owner info and emergency ‘ICE’ contacts so potentially critical information is readily available should I have an accident; installed my e-mail accounts, WhatsApp, Google Drive & Google Pay; set up cloud based default location for contacts, calendar app and photos, so they can be shared with my other devices & chosen contacts and will remain available to me should the phone be broken or lost; configured home screen to show only apps most often used and set up quick launch for the camera so it can be accessed instantly. Calendar updates and all photos from a recent trip abroad have appeared seamlessly on my other devices. Martin is very knowledgeable about what is available in terms of both hardware and Apps and can advise on both to suit your needs. Thanks to Martin I have been delighted with my new phone and apps and am looking forward to exploring further.

Thank you for the excellent service in showing me how to maximise the potential within my phone. I had never even contemplated backing it up and using cloud storage, and I had no idea how to use the Google assistant, and Google Pay etc. This has given me great peace of mind for the future.
I know that we have only scratched the surface but what we achieved in a few hours is incredible. I am looking forward to session 2 already!

This may seem feeble-minded to those of you more savvy or indeed patient than me, but I asked Martin to help me get everything synchronised and working when I took recent delivery of a new Nokia Lumia 930 Windows phone. I tried to DIY, but I couldn’t work out why things weren’t linking. Having watched so many other people lose days and weekends trying to achieve this with their various phones, lap-tops and tablet and then spend whole weekends de-duping the mess that followed, I decided investing in Martin’s help was going to save me all that time to get on with the things I’m good at. As ever he was incredibly responsive, calm and helpful. No regrets. I just relaxed!

If there was no Martin I would still be wasting time (days, thanks to the uninvited interference of a Facebook software update) trying to get my Blackberry to synchronise with my Outlook diary. I had spoken to Vodafone (hopeless), been transferred to an incomprehensible technical helpline at RIM and frankly had given up…and then I remembered Martin. I came away with a phone that’s sorted and a calendar that synchronises. Hoorah for Martin! Oh and he patiently put up with my fidgeting and well-meaning-whining whilst persisting quietly in finding the solution. I am very grateful. Good man – use him!

After purchasing a Sony Ericsson W950i I spent hours on the phone with Vodafone customer care and went to various mobile shops for assistance in setting up my email, all with no success. Even though Martin had not actually seen this particular model at that stage, he instructed me over the phone and within 10 minutes my email was up and running properly. Thanks Martin!
